Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. It helps to build strength in the legs and feet and increase flexibility in the hips, knees and ankles.
- Tap will be offered for ages 6 years old and up!
- We will offer different class times according to dancers age and ability level
- Increases cardiovascular conditioning

- Teaches rhythm and musicality which will carry over to all other styles of dance
- Provides the opportunity to dance to music or to create your own rhythm
- Enhances cognitive abilities because it takes mental and muscle memory to become skilled at tap
Great for balance and core strength because of all the weight shifting that it requires. This can reduce back pain, prevent injuries and improve posture which will carry throughout all other dance styles and even throughout life.
