You must attend one of our audition dates to be eligible to compete on one of our competition teams. After auditions, if you make the team, you must attend a mandatory intensive week at the end of the summer.

Requirements:

• YOU MUST REGISTER FOR AN AUDITION DATE.
• Please arrive 15 minutes earlier then your first scheduled class.
• Hair should be in a sprayed or gelled back bun that will not come out during the classes.
• We prefer that all our students auditioning are in a black leotard and tights (if this is a problem for anyone please let us know)
• The audition will be an hour and a half of ballet and an hour and a half of technique with a jazz combination at the end.
• Bring all the dance shoes you have and we will make it work. We understand that not everyone had every shoe yet. Ballet shoes or Jazz shoes would be most useful.
• We suggest that if you make the team in the beginning of the summer you take all classes for the rest of the summer for that team.
• If you are coming to a later audition date. We suggest that you take the classes for the competition age group you fit into to prepare for the audition.
• If you do not make the team during the first audition, you can try out again only if you took our studios team classes over the summer to prepare you for the second audition.

There is a mandatory summer intensive that all competition team members must take in order to compete that year.
