Recital

Our recital takes place once a year, marking the end of the dance year. It is held at Holy Trinity in Hicksville, NY. Participation in the recital is not mandatory. However, we do suggest that your child participates because it is a great learning experience.  All students who are performing in our recital are required to purchase the appropriate costumes through ADA. The costumes are ordered from various costume companies. Please provide your child’s costume size when submitting your recital participation form. This form is handed out in October. This size can be changed up until the costume deposit deadline, which will be announced in October. After the deadline no changes may be made to the costume size. Please take note that a little bigger is always better then smaller. Parents will be expected to make any small alterations needed to make the costume a perfect fit! 

Recital tickets are available through ADA prior to the recital date. It is mandatory that each family buys a ticket package, one that is best suited for their family. Additional tickets are subject to availability for an added fee per additional ticket.  Recital tickets are non-refundable. Please note that in order to pick up your tickets, all payments owed to ADA must be up to date. Dates for the dress rehearsal and recital will be announced at a later time. We advise that you stay current and up to date using our website www.alexasdanceacademy.com, through our newsletters or on the ADA bulletin board.

In order to adequately prepare for the recital and simultaneously make your experience as smooth as possible, the following are the fees related to costumes and the recital: The first payment will be due in October for your dancers costumes and the second payment in January for your ticket package. For students in multiple classes, each additional costume will have an additional cost. If you have more then one costume you will pay half of each additional costume in October with your deposit. The remaining balance will be paid in January with your balances. Specific dates will be announced in the newsletter and on the bulletin board on www.alexasdanceacademy.com

Please make sure that you complete your payments on time. We would love for all our costumes to arrive promptly and all together. If your payment is late, it will be considered a special order, which may require an additional fee in order to receive the costume on time. There is no guarantee that that you will have the costume on time if it is a special order.

All costume and recital deposits and balances are non-refundable and non-transferable.
